What's New

Introducing an easier way to log in to Online Banking!  No more passmark picture or phrase; no more remembering the answers to security questions.  Our enhanced authentication provides a more secure verification process offering greater protection from fraudulent access to your account information. Your identity is confirmed based upon previous successful login information and can be verified via phone call or text message to the phone number you previously registered.  You can check the phone you registered by going to the ‘Administration' tab on the Online Banking menu and then click on the ‘Manage Contact Information’ link.  Details about how this changes your login screens and additional instructions that will confirm your identity should your attempted login fail are below.

Beginning May 5, 2013, when Online Banking recognizes your valid login I.D as a typical login compared to your recent successful logins, the password page appears and you will simply enter your password to continue. The password page will no longer use a picture and phrase as part of user authentication and you are no longer required to answer security questions if your login fails. If the login is not recognized compared to previous successful logins, you are required to complete a ‘step-up authentication’ procedure, using a phone call or text message to verify your identity. This is the phone number you previously registered for phone and/or text verification. To begin authentication, simply click “Continue with Security Code” on the Step-Up Authentication page.

A ‘Tell Us Where to Reach You’ dialog prompts you to select a phone number to receive authentication from the phone number(s) you have registered. For security reasons, all but the last five digits of the phone numbers are masked. To confirm your identity, you must have access to the phone you previously registered in Online Banking. You will receive an automated phone call that instructs you to say or enter the one-time security code displayed on the ‘Enter Security Code’ dialog. You will have three attempts to correctly enter or speak the security code. After completing the phone call, click ‘Phone Call Completed.’ If you spoke or entered the correct security code and authentication is successful, you proceed to the Password page to complete login.

When using text message to confirm your identity, the dialog prompts you to enter a mobile phone number giving the bank permission to send you a text message. The mobile number entered must match the number you previously registered in Online Banking. A one-time security code will be delivered to the mobile phone by text message that you will enter in the ‘Enter Security Code’ dialog. When you enter the code and click submit, Online Banking verifies that the entered security code matches the security code sent to you by text message. You will have three attempts to enter the security code correctly. After the correct security code is entered correctly and authentication is successful, you proceed to the Password page to complete login.

If either the phone or text verification is unsuccessful, a dialog prompts you to dial the phone number provided for further assistance.
